J. A. Jance is an American author who is famous for penning a number of books under the caption Walker Family Mysteries. She has made a name in the areas of mystery and horror works. Many of her books revolve around J. P. Beaumont, who is a retired Police Department Detective in Seattle. There are other characters too and they include Joanna Brady Arizona County Sheriff and Ali Reynolds who is mystery solver though previously he was Los Angeles news anchor. This is because she was once told by a publisher to hide her gender identity.
