Building it over the course of the novel, he poses a series of questions effectively to the reader, keeping them constantly guessing throughout and never truly letting them go. This has proven to be a highly successful formula too, giving them a clear message knowing what the authors intentions are, whilst also keeping them on the edges of their seats.
