This is the first instalment in this series and it has proven to be such a success that it has been developed into a television series. The first book is called “Origins” and it’s set in the year 1864 when ourCivil War raged. However, 17-year old Stefan is waging a battle of his own. Even though he is engaged to marry someone called Rosalyn, he does not love her and instead falls in love with a mysterious woman called Katherine.
