Svetlana ChmakovaSvetlana Chmakova was born October 7, 1979 in Russia where she was first exposed to comics once she found ElfQuest at a Moscow book stand. After emigrating to Canada when she was sixteen, she graduated from the Sheridan College Classical Animation program in the year 2002 with a Classical Animation diploma. Then she started publishing her manga on the Internet.
