Steve Hockensmith

Steve Hockensmith was born on 17 August 1968 and is a renowned American author. Hockensmith was born in the town of Louisville, Kentucky. He currently resides in the bay area, California with his wife, a pet dog, and two children. Hockensmith gained popularity with the Holmes on Range mystery series. The first installment in the book series was published in the year 2006 and was a finalist for an Antony Award and an Edgar Award. Furthermore, a number of his short stories have also received nomination as well. His short mystery fiction, Erie’s Last Day, won him a Derringer Award and was published in the year 2000. Two successive Larrie Erie short stories The Big Road and Tricks were nominated for a Shamus Award. The Big Road received another nomination for a Barry Award and an Anthony Award.
