Sally Rooney is a popular upcoming author from Ireland, who is famous for writing contemporary and literature & fiction novels. She is particularly famous for writing the books, Conversations with Friends and Normal People. Rooney was born in 1991 in Dublin, Ireland. She spent her early years growing up in Castlebar. Rooney’s mother worked at an arts center, while her father used to work for Telecom Eireann. She has a younger sister and an elder brother. Author Rooney completed her studies from the Trinity College in Dublin. During her college studies in 2011, Rooney was elected as a scholar. Later, she enrolled herself for a master’s degree at the university but didn’t complete it. Instead, Rooney pursued and completed a degree in the field of American literature. In 2013, Rooney was the top speaker at the Debating Championships held at European University.
