Richard North Patterson is an American #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of many serious novels. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1968. He was awarded the Distinguished Achievement Citation by that university and also received the Alumni Achievement Award from his fraternity. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1971. The Case Western Reserve University awarded him the University President’s Award For Distinguished Alumni and the President’s Award For Excellence as well. He was an assistant Attorney General for Ohio State and worked for the Securities & Exchange Commission in San Francisco and Washington D.C. as a trial attorney.
