The reverse harem is unique due to its characteristics, which often arise from the main character. Just like the harem genre is made of a single man engaging in a sexual relationship with multiple men, reverse harem feature a female main character getting entangled with three or more male lovers. But this does not happen where the woman has to choose her true love. Instead, the female character does not get to choose but gets them all, and they live a happily ever after as a single family.
