Ray Lambert

Ray Lambert was a medic who landed on Omaha Beach during the D-Day invasion in World War II. He led a team of thirty men tasked with saving lives under heavy fire. Decades later, he shared his experiences in a memoir titled Every Man a Hero. The book was released close to the 75th anniversary of the war, preserving his firsthand account of what took place there.
