Phillip Strang

Phillip Strang is an Australian crime, thriller, and fiction author that was born in England during the post-war baby boom. As a child, he was born to a comfortable middle-class family and was brought up in a small town two hours out of London. His formative and childhood years were filled with innocence and as he grew into a teenager, he experienced complete mobility as his parents got him a three-speed Raleigh bike on which he rode around his small community. It was a time before wanton violence, mobile phones, terrorism, and the internet. He has always been a voracious reader though he never thought of pursuing a career in the creative arts. In his twenties, he graduated with an electronics engineering degree before he went on to attain an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in 1999. In the years that followed, he got wanderlust and left England to go see the world. He spent years moving around Europe Africa, the Middle East before ultimately ending up in Sydney, Australia. Forty years later, he still lives in Australia from where he writes his bestselling novels. He published his debut novel “Murder is a Tricky Business” in 2016 and has never looked back since.
