Paul Kemprecos

Paul Kemprecos is an American adventure and mystery writer. Paul worked in the newspaper business for over 25 years before he started writing fulltime. He says that the writing bug bit him when he took up a story involving the Whydah ship that sank with treasures of immense value in 1717. Paul found the rescue characters quite engaging and thought that the story could be turned in to a novel. His debut novel, Cool Blue Tomb, has some details of this intruding ship that pushed this talented managing editor into full-time writing. Paul’s debut novel enjoyed quite a readership and even got a Shamus award for the best paperback novel.
