Naima Coster

Naima CosterNaima Coster is a fiction and memoir writer best known for her Halsey Street novel. This talented author’s work has been featured in Lit Hub, New York Times, Arts & Letters, The Rumpus, and Catapult, to mention but a few. She has also won numerous awards, including the Cosmonauts Avenue Nonfiction Prize in 2017. Coster has a background in creative writing, and this is evident throughout her work. She studied writing at Yale, Columbia University, and Fordham University and holds an MFA. Currently, Coster is a fiction editor with Kweli, and she also teaches at Wake Forest University.
