Mike Newton / Lyle Brandt

Mike Newton is an American author of metaphysics, spirituality and nonfiction books. He also writes westerns under the pseudonym Lyle Brandt. A California native, he’s published more than 250 books both under his own name and pennames since 1977. He began his writing career as a ghost writer for Don Pendleton.His first novel under his name was Monsters, Mystery and Man. It’s a survey for unexplained phenomena for young readers. Even though majority of the author’s published books have been political thrillers, psychological suspense, and westerns he is best known for his nonfiction books.
