Mike Maden

Mike Maden is a critically acclaimed author from America, who likes to write political thriller novels. He is particularly famous for writing the Troy Pearce book series. This series is also known as the Drone series. Author Maden was born in California, United States, and spent the initial years of his life working in the feed mills, slaughterhouses, and canneries in the San Jaoquin Valley in California. He says that he has a life-long fascination with warfare and history. This ultimately led him to pursue a Ph.D on the subject of political science. His main areas of focus as a political science student were technology and conflict in the international relations. Author Maden proudly says that he is a big fan of Tom Clancy, and just like his numerous other fans, he too became his die hard fan after reading his book called The Hunt for Red October. Soon after finishing the reading part of this book, author Maden started his own career in published fiction in the same genre of techno-thriller books. At first, Maden wrote the very successful Drone novel and then followed it up with the sequels known as Blue Warrior, Drone Threat, and Drone Command. He feels honored to have joined The Campus in the role of a writer in the Jack Ryan Jr series of Tom Clancy. Because of growing up in a the family of working class people, author Maden learned the importance of working and earning for oneself from a very early age.
