Mia McKenzie

Mia McKenzie is an American writer and activist, best known for founding the website Black Girl Dangerous. Originally from Philadelphia, she attended the University of Pittsburgh. McKenzie’s writing thoughtfully centers on her perspectives as a queer Black feminist, with a particular focus on the lives of LGBTQ people of color. This clear and committed voice forms the foundation of all her work.
