Mary Ellis

Mary Ellis is one of the most noteworthy authors of America, who has written some of the very successful books in her writing career. Most of the novels written by her are based on the romance, Christian, and suspense genres. Many of those novels have gone on to win a number of prestigious awards and recognition over the course of her writing career. Author Ellis is well known for developing the plots of her novels, mostly around the Amish community. As many as 12 books written by her have gone on to win awards in various categories. Besides the Amish community settings, some other novels written by author Ellis are set in a few historical places during the time of the Civil War and seem to have an element of romance in them. Overall, she has written some 7 to 8 novels series, each comprising of not more than 3 to 4 books. The latest book written by author Ellis is titled as ‘Midnight on the Mississippi’, which is a part of the mystery novel series, ‘Secrets of the South ‘ and is described as having taken place in New Orleans. Author Ellis was born in Cleveland, The United States. Before going on to take up writing as a full time career, she used to teach in a school.
