Marjorie M. Liu

Marjorie M. LiuMarjorie M. Liu was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Seattle. She has lived in numerous Midwest cities, as well as Shanghai, Beijing, and Tokyo. Her mom is an American of Scottish, Irish, and French descent, while her dad is Taiwanese. She developed an early love of reading, from books like the “Little House on the Prairie” series by Laura Ingalls Wilder to the works of Charles de Lint, Robert Louis Stevenson, Jorge Luis Borges, and Joseph Campbell.
