Lisa Feldman Barrett is a neuroscientist and psychological scientist that is best known for her work towards the understanding of the nature of emotion.In her work, she has demonstrated both experimentally and theoretically that fear, anger, and sadness among other emotions are often flexible biological categories. These challenge the assertion that emotions are universal and innate.
