Lincoln Peirce
1963
Lincoln Peirce is a cartoon artist born on 23rd of October in 1963 from Portland Maine and was raised in Durham, New Hampshire. He did his studies in art at Colby College in Maine where he started cartooning and he developed a weekly comic strip referred to as “Third Floor” for the local school magazine. He later on received a graduate degree from Brooklyn College and in addition studied at The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture prior to starting teaching art and coaching basketball game at a New York senior high school for about 3 years. He presently plays hockey with an aged men’s league and talks about it as being his ideal sport as a child. He lives together with his wife and 2 children, and from time to time he presents lectures to college students pertaining to cartoon creating.
