Leah Brooke is a bestselling romance author that also authors historical romance novels as Lana Dare. Growing up, she loved to read and even right now she cannot imagine living for even a few days without reading something. Most of the books that she has loved and still reads have been happily ever afters. Sometimes, Brooke would read a beautiful story and ruminating on the story, she would finally rewrite the story for her amusement. She had written quite a lot by the time she decided to submit one of her novels for publishing. Brooke published her debut novel “Desire for Three” the first of the “Desire, Oklahoma” series of novels in 2008. She has said that she loves writing and cannot imagine doing anything with her life other than being an author. She usually writes to help her reads get away from the stress and problems in their lives by providing enjoyment, escape, amusement, and relaxation even if it only for a time. Leah remembers picking up books after a grueling day that lifted her mood and this is what she wants her books to do for her readers. She has said that she gets her ideas from anywhere and everywhere, which can be anything from a song on the radio, a person and name she imagines, or an email she receives.
