Land of Stories

The Land of Stories is a series of children’s fiction novels written the famous singer, actor, and author Chris Colfer. There is a total of 5 books in the series of which the first four have been published between the years 2012 and 2015. The fifth novel of the series is about to be published in the year 2016. All the novels of the series feature the life story of the twins Alex and Conner Bailey, who are also the main characters of the series. The first novel of the series was published under the title ‘The Land of Stories: Wishing Spell’. It was published in the year 2012 by the Little, Brown and Company publishing house based in New York. The plot of the novel follows the magical journey of the twins Conner and Alex Bailey as they fall into some other dimension through a magical book. As they move into the new dimension, they find all the famous characters from the fairy tales alive. The cherished book through which the twins pass seems to have some mysterious powers in its stories. As Conner and Alex leave their real life world, they find themselves waking up in a foreign world which seems to be full of magic and wonder. Soon, the twins come face to face with all the fairy characters from the cherished book which they grew up reading all through their life. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, the worlds of the twins Conner and Alex Bailey seems to undergo a change as they indulge themselves in reading a magic book.
