L.J. Sellers

L.J Sellers has not only excelled in fictional writing, more specifically crime and mystery thrillers, but has demonstrated her proactivity as a member of society, and won awards and critical acclaim for her journalism and articles on psychology. First and foremost, L.J Sellers is known to be the author of the Detective Jackson series, but she started off her career as a journalist. Having always loved researching and writing from a young age, even writing some fiction, Sellers moved to Eugene at 18 from a small town nearby, where she received degree in journalism from the University of Oregon, and continued to write short stories, though at this point not taking it seriously. After her graduation, Sellers moved to Phoenix due to lack of work in Eugene for journalists (some of her friends who graduated in the same field worked in menial kitchen jobs), and after having married and having a son she moved back to Eugene, where she married for a 2nd time. She took part time work as a waitress and freelance journalist jobs to provide some income while at the same time allowing her enough time to spend with her child and the 2 of her second husband.
