Kimberla Lawson was born on May 3, 1965, as Kimberla Marie Lawson in the city of Rockford in Illinois. Her parents were Arletha Tennin Stapleton and Lucious Lawson. Author Kimberla’s novel series, The Reverend Curtis Black is quite famous all over the world for its depiction of temptations for the worldly materials and physical pleasures by a pastor, which cause a lot of problems in his married life.
