Kathryn Casey
Kathryn Casey is a mystery and crime fiction author and award-winning journalist best known for the “Clara Jefferies” and the “Sarah Armstrong Mystery” series. Casey was brought up in rural Wisconsin in a small three-bedroomed farmhouse and loved to read from a very young age. She still remembers her mother telling her that she needed to put down her books for a moment and go play. After she got married, she moved to Texas with her husband since he had found a new job there. As for her career, she was a late bloomer and spent many years in college finally graduating in her early thirties. She would then go on to work in magazines and had a lot of fun. During this time, she wrote more than a hundred articles that were featured in many state and national magazines such as “Readers Digest,” “Ladies’ Home Journal,” “Town & Country,” “TV Guide,” “MORE,” “Rolling Stone,” “Seventeen” and “Texas Monthly” among many others. She currently lives with her husband and their fluffy and funny Havanese in Houston, Texas.
