Josie Brown is an American writer that hails from San Francisco, California, which also doubles up the setting for most of her novels. She is best known for the Housewife Assassin series of novels, the first of which is “The Housewife Assassin’s Handbook” that was published in 2011. With over a million copies of her romantic suspense novels sold to date, she is one of the most successful novelists in the genre. Officially publishing with Harper Collins and Simon & Schuster, she also sells her novels in kindle on iBooks and on Amazon, where she has held the number one spot in sales on several occasions. Apart from the highly successful Housewife Assassin’s Handbook series, she has also written the True Hollywood Lies series, The Baby Planner, The Candidate, and the Totlandia series. In 2012, Jerry Bruckheimer optioned her novel, “Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives” for NBC-TV. She has also written three nonfiction works about relationships.
