Joshua Whitehead

Joshua Whitehead is an accomplished Canadian poet and author. His writing is renowned for its ability to craft compelling and entertaining characters and protagonists. His poem ‘mihkokwaniy’ went on to win Canada’s History Award for Aboriginal Arts and Stories, which included a residency at the Banff Centre. His work has been published in numerous Canadian literary magazines. Most recently, Whitehead’s collection of poetry, Full-Metal Indigiqueer, was shortlisted for the 2017 Lambda Literary Award for Transgender Poetry.
