Jonathan Strahan

Jonathan Strahan is a popular Irish-born Australian writer, who is known for writing young adult, science fiction, and fantasy stories. He is also an award-winning editor, book reviewer, podcaster, occasional publisher, critic, and anthologist. Strahan edits anthologies as a freelancer and acquires and edits fiction for Tor Publishing. He also works as a Reviews Editor for the Locus magazine. Strahan was born in 1964 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. His family relocated to Perth in Western Australia in the year 1968, where he completed his graduation. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Western Australia University in 1986. In 1990, Strahan laid the foundation of Eidolon, an Australian Journal of Science Fiction & Fantasy. He was associated with it as a co-publisher and co-editor until 1999. Strahan also co-published Eidolon Books, which published some popular authors’ works such as The Secret Life of Rubber Suit Monsters by Robin Pen, Going Home Again by Howard Waldrop, Blackwater Days by Terry Dowling, The Thorn Boy by Storm Constantine, etc.
