John Walker

John Walker is a bestselling science fiction novelist who made his name with the Rise of Mankind series. The elements of science fiction in his novels come from the fact that he went to the University of Reading where he got a solid-state physics Ph.D. Before he became a full-time author he worked for the Reading-based company Racal Communication where he was a technical manager. Walker would then make use of his experience in physics and technology and blend his expertise with innovative storytelling, to come up with some fascinating narratives that resonate with his readership.
