John Cheever

John CheeverJohn Cheever was born May 27, 1912 in Quincy, Massachusetts, and was the second child of Mary Liley Cheever and Frederick Lincoln Cheever. His dad was a prosperous shoe salesman, and Cheever spent most of his childhood in a large Victorian house, at 123 Winthrop Avenue.
