Joan Johnston

Joan Johnston is one of The New York Times bestselling and prominent authors of America, who has written many successful novels in her writing career. Most of her novels are basically written based on the Historical and Contemporary Romance genres. Joan was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, The United States. She was the 3rd child of her parents among her seven siblings. Her mother was a music teacher whereas her father was a sergeant in the Air Force. Joan grew up and went on to receive her degree in B.A., from the Jacksonville University in theatre in the year 1970. Later, she also earned her Master of Arts degree in the same field from the Illinois University in Urbana in the year 1970. This was followed by a law degree with honors from the Texas University, Austin in the year 1980. After that, Joan began working as an attorney and continued the job for a period of five years. She used to serve for a few of the major companies at that time, which included the Hunton and Williams firm based in Richmond, Virginia, and the Squire Sanders & Dempsey firm based in Miami.
