Jennifer Stevenson
Jennifer Stevenson is one of the most popular authors of America who has written several highly successful novels in her writing career. Most of her writings are based on the science fiction, fantasy, and romance genres. Jennifer often likes to mix her romance and fantasy books with elements of romantic comedy, magical realist, working class, regional, and sex positive style of storytelling. She was born on October 6, 1955, in Waukegan, Illinois, The United States. Being one of the famous authors of the society, author Jennifer received the opportunity of becoming a member of the feminist speculative fiction community of America, which she not only accepted but also actively participates in all the happenings in the community. In her writing career, author Jennifer has written short stories as well as novel series, most of which depict a blend of the urban fantasy and other genres of storytelling. Almost all the books written by her are based in Chicago. The debut novel written by author Jennifer was titled as ‘Trash Sex Magic’. It was published in the year 2004 by the Small Beer Press and was able to earn a place on the short list of the science fiction industry journal called Locus Magazine, very soon. This helped author Jennifer to be nominated for the First Fantasy Novel Award of the year 2005. Following this, the novel was also shortlisted for the Nebula Award in the years 2005 and 2006.
