Iona Whishaw

Before she became an author, Iona Wishaw served as an educator and a social worker. Iona Wishaw also served as a principal and during her time serving as a principal, she was given an award. Iona Wishaw attended UBC where she received her Master’s degree in Creative Arts. As an author, Iona Wishaw has published short stories, poetry translation, poetry and a children’s book titled Henry and the Cow Problem. Born in Kimberly BC, Iona Wishaw was raised up in some places including Central America, Mexico, and the United States mainly because her father worked as a geologist. Several years later, Iona Wishaw decided to take another degree in education and history from Antioch College and another degree from Simon Fraser University. Both her parents served as spies during the World Wars. Currently, Iona Wishaw lives with her husband in Vancouver, British Colombia.
