Ina Garten

Ina Rosenberg Garten is an American cooking, food and wine enthusiast, author and host of “Barefoot Contessa,” a cooking show on the “Food Network.” She first got interested in cooking when her mother in law bought her the cookbook series “Time Life” which would become a huge influence in her later work.Later on, she used the feedback from customers and friends and her own intuition to refine her famous recipes. Rosenberg was born in Brooklyn New York to a Jewish family though she would spend much of her childhood living in Connecticut.
