Ian Morson

Ian Morson was born in Midlands in the year 1947 into a working class family with the family members working at either the railways or Rolls-Royce. Morson attended the local Grammar school, which had high academic standards. The school was among the few, which taught Russian. After completing his studies at the Grammar school, Morson secured a scholarship in the year 1965, to Oxford University. While at Oxford University, he developed a deep love for folk music, thus he performed many at times at the local pubs and clubs.
