Holmes on the Range Mystery

The “Holmes on the Range” series by Steve Hockensmith features the characters Big Red and Old Red. The pair are brothers. It features novels and short stories to it. The pair made their debut in a story called “Dear Mr. Holmes” that was first published in an issue of Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine in the year 2003.
