Henry Turner

Henry Turner is an American author of YA mystery novels. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, having always been interest in some form of storytelling. As a teenager, he made films with his brother and other kids from the neighbourhood. After writing, shooting and cutting five feature fuilms, he won awards and gained notoriety, so he moved to L.A. He helped build a film festival there, and worked as a journalist, interviewing such filmmakers as George Lucas, Brian Grazer, Quentin Tarantino, James Cameron, and others. The whole time, he kept writing stories. After spending time in Greece, Henry decided he wanted to commit to writing fiction, and studied with John Rechy when he returned to Los Angeles. Henry and his wife have a son, Hugo.
