Eric Van Lustbader

A man who has had many career paths such as elementary education and music production, Eric Van Lustbader’s real passion always lied with writing. Born and raised in the Lower West Side of Manhattan, Van Lustbader develop an interest in art and writing from a very young age. As a kid, Van Lustbader lived downstairs from legendary actress Lauren Bacall. In addition to this, he was also friends with brothers Keith and David Carraddine, who also turned out to be successful actors themselves. The three of them would build orange create racers in Washington Square Park. He attended the City and Country School for his early education, a place which he had very fond memories of. He went to high school at New York’s Stuyvesant High School and following his time at high school he went to Columbia College where he majored in sociology. Although he went to many amazing educational institutions, he is famous for saying that his most important lessons were learn while he was still a young kid at the City and Country School.
