Elizabeth Pewsey

Elizabeth Pewsey is the pen name of author Elizabeth Edmondson who has authored the series Mr. Darcy’s Daughters and the Mountjoy book series. The Mountjoy book series was authored under her pen name and was published by Hodder and Stoughton. The books in this series were inspired by the many years that Elizabeth resided in New York, a city where her son served as a chorister. All the books in this series display the unquiet, unholy and mysterious on-goings of a family referred to as the Mountjoys and the imaginary a peculiar circle within the city of Eyot.
