Douglas Reeman / Alexander Kent
1924 – 2017
Douglas Reeman is a British author of historical naval fiction, both under his real name and as Alexander Kent. In real life, Reeman enlisted in the Royal Navy in 1940 when he was 16 and served during World War II and the Korean War. He writes theRichard Bolithoseries as well as theBlackwood Familyseries (aka Royal Marines).
