Diana Xarissa Dunn
Diana Xarissa Dunn is a crime, mystery, and thriller author who loves to call herself a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and author with the order changing depending on what day of the week it is. Diana was brought up in the outskirts of Eri Pennsylvania but she would later relocate to Washington DC. A few years later, she met the English man that would later become her husband. The man swept her off her feet and whisked her away to England where she lived for more than a decade. During their stay on the Isle of Man, Diana got two children and went back to school to get her masters in Manx Studies. In 2008, the family moved back to the United States as Diana needed to give her children the American experience and lifestyle as well. They moved to Buffalo in Western New York, from where Diana writes her novels, volunteers at the local school, and looks after her children. While she now lives in New York, she lived so long in the Isle of Man that she still sets her novels in that locale. Some of her novels such as “The Bennett Case” and “The Appleton Case” are set in Derbyshire the first town she lived in as a newlywed in the north of England. As Diana X, she also writes thrillers/mysteries set in a future world. As D.X. Dunn, she also writes middle-grade children’s books.
