Derek Milman

Derek Milman is an American author of YA novels. He is also an actor. Derek was born in New York City and raised in nearby Westchester County. As a youth, he wrote an underground humour magazine that he sold to stores locally. Derek later attended Northwestern University, and earned his MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama. As an actor, he has many great television and film credits to his name (The Sopranos, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Wolf of Wall Street, Orange is the New Black). Derek lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he writes full-time.
