Debbie Young
Debbie Young is an award winning and bestselling cozy mystery author. She is best known for writing witty and wry fiction full of English humor based on her keen observations of domestic life. Even though she now makes her home in the small English village of Cotswolds, she was born and brought up in Sidcup, Kent. Growing up, she loved schooling and went to Days Lane for primary school and then to Beaverwood School for Girls, one of the last local grammar schools. Young enjoyed a quiet suburban childhood until her family moved to Germany when she was fourteen. She then attended the Frankfurt International School and graduated with an International Baccalaureate. She got her degree in English and Related Literature at the University of New York in the UK. She then worked and lived as a PR consultant and journalist in West England and in London. As a thirty year old, she moved to Cotswolds, to a farm near Bourton-on-the-Water. It was a place she had always wanted to live in even though she still loves to travel on the family camper van from time to time.
