David Ignatius

David Ignatius is an American author of spy thriller/suspense novels, in addition to his work as an associate editor and columnist for theWashington Post. He was educated at Harvard College and Kings College, Cambridge University. He started out as an editor at theWashington Monthlybefore starting at theWall Street Journal, where he worked for 10 years as a reporter. Since 1986, he has been working at theWashington Post. During this career, he has gained ample knowledge of foreign affairs and intelligence operations, for which he uses in his spy novels. His novelBody of Lieswas adapted to film by Ridley Scott, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.
