David Casarett

David Casarett is an American author of fiction and nonfiction books. In addition to writing, he also works in the medical field. He has an M.D. and is a researcher and physician as well as a professor with tenure at the School of Medicine at Duke University. He is a chief in the field of palliative care as well as the director of the Duke Center for Palliative Care. He has channeled his professional life and knowledge into his writing as well as writing fictional mystery novel series set in Asia.
