Daryl Wood Gerber

Daryl Wood Gerber is an Agatha Award winning author and the bestselling writer of The Cookbook Nook Mystery series. She is particularly famous for writing most of her novels based on the suspense, mystery, and fiction genres. The Cookbook Nook Mystery series written by her features the main character in the form of an admitted foodie, avid reader, and the owner of a cookbook store located in the coastal regions of California. Author Daryl began writing this series in the year 2013. In addition to this successful series, she also writes The Cheese Shop Mystery series under the pseudonym of Avery Aames. This series went on to become a national bestseller and is set in the fictional city of Providence, Ohio. Before beginning her career as a writer, author Daryl used to write screenplays and is popular for creating the format of the famous television show called ‘Out of this World’. She was even involved in working as an actress, co-starring in the mystery show called ‘Murder, She Wrote’ as well as a few other television shows. She originally hails from the Bay Area, but studied at the Stanford University.
