Daniel Abraham
American author Daniel Abraham was born in November, 1969 and lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Abraham writes science fiction and fantasy fiction using three pen names for the different types of fiction he writes. Using his real name, Daniel Abraham writes epic fantasies based in other worlds. When using the pen name MLN Hanover, he writes urban fantasies set in similar worlds to our own world. As James S.A. Corey, he writes science fiction that is set in the far off future. When Abraham writes as Corey, he does so with his writing partner Ty Franck. He has also collaborated with George R.R. Martin, who also lives in New Mexico. Abraham not only writes short stories and novels with Martin, he also adapts Martin’s books, The Game of Thrones series and the novel, Fevre Dream, into graphic novels. Martin has been very important to Abraham’s future as a writer.
