D.I. Angel Mystery

The D.I. Angel Mystery is a series authored by Roger Silverwood, a Yorkshire author. It is based on Michael Angel, a Detective Inspector. Angel lives in Bromersley, South Yorkshire, the United Kingdom with his wife Mary. His work is to investigate crimes and find the perpetrators. He is not particularly talented, but his stubborn spirit and use of even the most unusual methods always make him succeed. The entire series is made of 26 books, with the first one being ‘In the Middle of Life’ and the 26th being ‘The Snakes and Ladders Murders’.
