By the time she was nine, she had written her first story and four years later had her first romance story. Nonetheless, she never pursued her love for writing until she spent five years with NASA and three years with the US Army in Iron Curtain Berlin that she realized that her passion lay in writing fiction. While she initially wrote stories in all manner of genres, she eventually gravitated towards romance and suspense as this is where her novels were most popular.
