C.E. Murphy

C.E. Murphy is one of the highly famous authors from The United States, who likes to write her books based on the romance, science fiction, and fantasy genres. She is particularly renowned for writing the widely successful Walker Papers series, Inheritor’s Cycle series, The Strongbox Chronicles, and The Negotiator Trilogy series. In addition to using her original name for writing her books, author Murphy also uses the pen name Cate Dermody for writing some of her novels. Her writing career also consists of writing a graphic novel called Take A Chance. Author Murphy was born on June 01, 1973 in Kenai, Alaska, The United States. Apart from writing the fantasy and science fiction books, she is also credited for writing several comic books and short stories. In one of her interviews, author Murphy has stated that the pseudonym Cate Dermody is the maiden name of her grandmother. Currently, she resides in the ancestral homeland located in Ireland. Along with writing books, author Murphy was also involved in a number of other jobs such as archival assistant, web designer, library volunteer, and cannery worker. However, she maintains that writing novels is her most favorite and primary hobby. Author Murphy began her writing career in the year 2005 and released her debut book in the same year, which was published under the title of Urban Shaman. Since then, she has gone on to write various other novels based on a wide range of genres. It was at the age of 6 that author Murphy began writing. At that time, she used to write only stories and poems, which used to get published in her school’s publication.
