Simon Brett is a great writer who has done several books in his career as a writer. Simon was born on 28th October 1945 in Worcester Park, Surrey, England. Besides being a writer, he is also a radio producer. He is known for writing detective fiction books that are very simple with the best setting. His father was a chartered surveyor. He attended the Dulwich College and Wadham Colloge, Oxford. From this college, he graduated with a degree in English with first class honors. His first work was at the BBC where he joined as a trainee and then worked for the London Weekend Television and the BBC Radio. His writing career began on a serious note in 1970s. He is currently residing in Arundel, West Sussex England with his three children and wife. He is also the president of the Detection Club since the year 2000. As he was working as a Television and radio presenter, he managed to produce the pioneer episode of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and the “I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue” which is a comedy series and “The Burkiss way” among others.
